Pliny Allen Porter He is the Managing Partner of MaceCorp Ltd. After graduating from Harvard University (AB) and an MBA from the University of Virginia, he spent 23 years working with IBM in four countries. Since leaving IBM, Allen has been involved in consultancy in business and marketing strategies for a wide range of organisations, such as the major telecoms operators, the European Commission, Regulatory bodies, IT hardware and software companies. as well as IT users. For many telecom organisations, he has been active in acquisitions, partnerships and due diligence activities. Allen is also a well known presenter and advisor. Howard Lowday He is a Senior Consultant of MaceCorp responsible for many of the consultancy assignments involving telecoms services and information system products. He specialises in all aspects of marketing for ICT products, with particular experience of the market introduction and distribution. He is graduate in Physics and Mathematics, and worked in the information systems and services industries for over thirty years prior his association with MaceCorp in 1988. His experience has included programming, systems analysis, development and operational management. He has worked in both user and supplier companies, the last 15 years having been spent in marketing management and consultancy. Dr Therese Cory She is a Senior Research Consultant with twelve years' experience in the field of ICT. Dr Cory has been compiling an analysis of major industry developments, competitive aspects, regulatory and economic issues in telecoms and IT on behalf of AIIT and MaceCorp Limited. Her activities include the analysis of major trends in IT technology, telecommunications directions, strategies and positioning, and more recently on Internet/Intranet and telecommunications impact on the environment and working conditions. Hedley White He is an Associate Consultant in 1992 is based in the UK and Portugal. Hedley has had long experience in the IT industry with a major European vendor. His skills and expertise are in marketing and sales, much of this gained in the international environment. Before becoming an Associate of MaceCorp, Hedley held a number of senior marketing and sales roles with ICL. Hedley has worked a large proporton of his career outside the UK in the Middle East, West Africa and Eastern Europe managing operations in these locations. A major aspect of the role was introducing IT products and services to new markets. Dieter Muernseer He is an Associate of MaceCorp based in Munich. He has extensive managerial and marketing experience gained as a member of European management boards of two large American blue chip companies. Since 1990 he has worked in the liberalised telecommunications market, assisting incumbent operators in repositioning themselves, devising market entry strategies for emerging carriers, and helping telecom hardware and software suppliers to expand their market shares. Bertil Lundberg He is an Associate of MaceCorp based in Sweden. He has had many years experience working in the IT industry, holding positions as Programming Manager, Systems Manager and Head of Corporate Data Processing in a multinational company based in Sweden. He worked for more than 20 years with Philips where he held senior positions in the Information Systems and Automation Department in Sweden. In Holland he developed digital telephone exchanges and within the Telecommunication and Data Systems Division. He also became Marketing Project Coordinator assigned to control major banking automation projects world-wide. Bo Lindestam is an Associate of MaceCorp based in Sweden. His background is in civil and military Command and Control Systems, since 1981, in the commercial DP and telecom/datacom business, with focus on customer requirements, application systems and software analysis. Extensive international experience in market research, demand and business viability analysis and systems marketing. Special interest in the Nordic and German ICT markets. Employed by Ericsson, Nokia and ICL in sequence. Independent consultant since 1994. Guiseppe Calogero He is an Associate of MaceCorp based in Italy. His career began as a researcher in computers and data processing for one of the Olivetti Group Labs, in close co-operation with the University of Pisa. Ing. Calogero has an in-depth of knowledge of administration, finance and competitive strategy in telecommunications, gained from the many years he spent profitably managing a large number of companies in different sectors. He has acquired a wide range of experience and senior contacts in the Italian ICT industry.
